  They turned things over to collections without sending a bill. Then they refused to send the bill, but they continue to threaten to ding my credit. I plan to avoid Wake Emergency Physicians whenever possible.
  
  Update January 17, 2017: I paid the bill directly to WEP in November, but the collections company continues to call. They said that WEP verified that bill is still outstanding in late December.
