  Recently went to passport health in Cary. The receptionist and nurse Kathy Buckmaster were extremely rude. As a physician I would never treat any of my patients the way i was treated here. Very poor customer service. I will not be recommending this place to colleagues or friends. No apology was offered and I was still going to get charged for a visit for which I received no recommendations, no evaluation, and no real physician to speak to. Will be reporting this place to the medical board.

  I went here for a yellow fever vaccination. We arrived early and were seen right away. The staff were courteous and friendly. There is a shortage of the standard US-approved vaccine, but that is temporary and out of this company's hands. We received Stamaril, a European version that has been around for 30 years, and is approved temporarily for use in the US during the shortage. I certainly had no concerns that we did not receive the vaccine we were supposed to. And yes, they're a business and a medical practice, so they will recommend that you receive as many vaccines as warranted for your travel destination. But all these recommendations are based on CDC recommendations in any case. I'd be happy to return if I need travel-related medicine in the future.
