  There is no doubt that Heron's makes quality food, has excellent service, and is generally a great fine dining restaurant. I is / has all of those things. And I do think our waitress was the best part of our meal. She was really fantastic.
  
  However, maybe it's just me and my poor to lower middle class upbringing and adulthood, but $280 for a meal for 2 people - without drinks - is just too much for me. We came here after our wedding, so it was a nice treat for that... but even for that I balked a little. And I also felt that I had a hard time choosing something off the menu that didn't seem like it had almost too many competing flavors (trying too hard) or didn't have something on it that knew I wouldn't enjoy. There were probably 6-8 choices for each 4 courses offered, and I think I ordered the only 3 things on the menu that looked appealing.
  
  It was somethin I consider an enjoyable experience, but not one that I need to repeat.
