  I had chronic lower back pain for several years and since my family was familiar with Cary Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, I decided to contact the Spine Center. I couldn't be happier that I happened to luckily get Dr Mathur. He was very through, kind and understandable for us lay people. He completely answered every question that I had. When the decision was made to do surgery, I was never nervous or anxious because I had that much faith in him as my surgeon. I would highly recommend Dr Mathur to anyone contemplating any spine surgery.
